Contact us and contribute

NEST GPU users and developers are encouraged to get in touch via the routes established by NEST simulator:

  • You can directly work on the NEST GPU GitHub repository by submitting issues for reporting bugs and requesting features or pull requests for contributing to the source code or the documentation.

  • You can also contact the NEST community through the mailing list or in the open video conference, where NEST GPU-specific topics are equally welcome to discuss.

  • In general NEST GPU aims to adhere to the development workflow of the NEST simulator. You can inspect the NEST developer space for further useful information and guidelines.

NEST GPU GitHub

Possible features, bugs, or other issues can be discussed on GitHub. We encourage our whole community to provide feedback and help contribute to improving our code and documentation.

Mailing list

The NEST users mailing list is intended to be a forum for questions on the usage of NEST, the exchange of code and general discussions about NEST. The philosophy is that all users profit by sharing their experience. All NEST core developers are subscribed to this list and will participate in the discussions as far as time allows.

By subscribing to the mailing list you will also get notified of all NEST related events!

Open video conference

Every two weeks, we have an open video conference to discuss current issues and developments in NEST. We welcome users with questions regarding their implementations or issues they want help solving to join. This is an opportunity to have discussions in real time with developers.

Information for dates and how to join can be found on our GitHub wiki.
